had this laptop for a while now and recently connected an external monitor to it. whilst having a fiddle around working out what button combo to switch on the external monitor I noticed I had manged to turn the screen brightness down. shortly after I got the external monitor to work I tried to increase the brightness of the laptop monitor and to my horror it just would not work!!! the brightness down button however still works.
does anyone have any suggestions as to what might now cause the brightness up button not to work??
