    Hi there

I am in the process of buying a hd ready 42 inch television.

But I dont know where to place it :rotfl:

I was thinking to place it on top of the fireplace but I am concerned about the heath and the viewing angle it will assume once up there....

Has any of you out there experimented the thing??

Plasmas generate a significant amount of heat - and many have fans and filters incorporated in them. (The manuals for some of the models I've used mention cleaning the air inlets frequently to ensure they are clear of dust)

Placing a plasma above a fireplace or radiator may put it in the path of rising dust (carried by hot air) - and not help keep it cool - so it may not be the best location...

    Thanks for your reply.

Would you rather reccomend a LCD set or is it the same?
