    Hi All,
I have purchased a 8' x 4' foot sheet of foamex to try as a screen.
I do not want to cut the 8 foot down to 85" to make it 16.9. So I may use other ratios by moving the projector. Does anyone know of a DIY side masking system that looks half desent.
    Thanks,
    Barry.

You could always buy an electirc curtain system that you can stop manually at the desired aspect ratio, but this will onoy give you width not height ratio,

have a look on some of the american cinema forums, they have ideas on masking.

    Hi Matt,
I saw the thread on that, and it does look promising if the bloke can come up with the goods.

    Thanks,
    Barry.
