I have started to notice that when I finish playing a game and have ejected the disc and am back in the XMB for a few seconds my screen flickers (it quickly goes black then the XMB comes back on, as if your quickly turning the tv off then on again, it happens really quickly though and after it happens everything seems fine). It's as if the PS3 is re-connecting to the TV or something.

It's happended twice this week, when quiting out of GRAW 2, it may have happened before but I just haven't noticed it.

Just wondering if anyone else has the same thing happen to them or if it is something to get checked out?

    Thanks

It's connected to a 32" Sony Bravia (current model) using a hdmi cable. It may have happened before but I have just started to really notice it.

It maybe something to do with the resolution changing back when going back into the XMB. I think some other people may have mentioned having the same or similar issue.

It's perfectly normal. It's just the PS3 and the TV performing a "handshake" to detect the resolution it should be displaying at.

    Happens with my Toshiba 42X3030D.

Thanks for your feedback guys. I think I'm just being a bit paranoid, just never really noticed it before until GRAW2.
