Hi, I have a new Draper Onyx screen and I just wondered about cleaning it. I managed to get a couple of hand marks on it during assembly and wasn't sure about using any type of cleaner on it, or if I should just use a soft cloth. It is a tensioned vinyl screen.

    Hi,

Normally, any screen fabric can be cleaned with some water and a cloth. Assuming the handmarks are caused by dirt, this should do.
Alternatively, you can use a mild soap solution.

Make sure you don't use any more "aggressive" cleaning solutions, as these might damage your screen.

    Best regards,

    Otto

    Lovely, thanks! :)

I just got a very similar response from Draper themselves:

Care and Maintenance: Clean surface with a solution of mild dishwashing liquid diluted with warm water. ARMOR ALL® Multi- Purpose Cleaner may also be used. Remove stubborn stains with a solution of rubbing alcohol and water. Do not allow any cleaners to be absorbed by the fabric. Do not use cleaners which contain abrasives or wax.
