I'm suffering noticeable screen burn on my Toshiba 40pw8DB rear pro from leaving Sky sports news on too much. (The info panels they show on right and bottom of screen).

Is this a curable thing?...............or am I destined to sell it for spares?

    Great TV otherwise.

As an afterthought.......anyone know what this model might be worth right now, in condition stated?

Thinking of putting it on eBay.

It is the full Dolby Digital model, and has a pair of boxed surround speakers included.

Apart from the aforementioned problem, it is fine.

What sort of contrast was you running? It is quite hard to get burn with "normal" viewing.
