    Hello,

Can anybody tell me if plasma screens suffer from screen burn after the recommended 200hrs burn in period?

I've only had my plasma 6 days ( before MAW jumps down my throat ! ) so I can't comment yet. But my mate has had his Sony plasma for a few years and he didn't run his in and his has suffered no screen burn, neither has my brothers Panny.

    plasmajoe,

I think that after 200 hrs the most dangerous period has passed but I think to say that there is no danger might be a bit misleading. Probably not many people would like to leave a still picture on overnight.

There is always a danger of screen burn from misuse. Don't leave your display on static image with the contrast at high levels.....in everyday use you should be fine straight out the box.
