Is the R4 edition of this uncut ?

I have the NTSC laserdisc which is uncut (all the extra gore) and have never bought it on DVD as I was never sure if there was an uncut version on DVD.

I have just seen that MovieTyme have the R4 DTS version for £17.99 and wondered if this was uncut...and if not, can anyone point me towards an uncut version on DVD.

    Thanks

*Edit* Do you think I used the word 'uncut' enough in the above post ;) :D

I believe that you could get an uncut version from Japan but not sure if it's still available.

No the R4 is still the R rated version missing aprox 30 seconds of gore.
You can get the Directors cut on R2 japanese dvd - very pricy Or there is a danish R2 dvd that has the Directors cut on it - alot cheaper than the Jap dvd.

Heres a very good site - a number of horror fans have used this site and had no problems. They have 3 versions of Scream for sale - not sure which or if they are all Uncut?

I have the laser disc tucked away in the loft as well. Can't bring myself to replace it with the DVD either as I know its cut (even though 30 secs is nothing, but now I know they should be there its annoying). Shame as I do really like the original.
