The latest rumours suggest that the year's fifth instalment is designed a part one of a new trilogy, with Scream 6 already filming for release next Spring, and another - Scream 7, to act as a 'trilogy' closer. Based on a fresh new locale with the Big Apple for part 6, it's clear that makers want to keep things moving foward, and the low budget/big returns means it'll more likely happen. A possible Scream 7 came to light with the rumoured return of

Neve Campbell in a minor Scream 6 role, to be expanded on for part 7. A lot of conjecture, but we'll see...

Keep it all a mystery I say, films are so much more fun when they’re discovered whilst actually watching them, not in the trailer ad nauseam 6 months before hand.

Wow that’s quick.
At this point I’d kill off the majority of cast, new and old and put it to bed, at the very least for a long long time.

Sam to be Ghostface in Scream 7 kills everyone except her sister, Sidney comes in and offs her in the final scene.

Can’t argue with the $$$$ it’s raking in.

Clearly following in the footsteps of the Transformers or Jurassic Park movies. No matter how terrible they are, they still rake in the money.:facepalm:

Oh yes. This is Hollywood, and nothing talks up a followup like $$$, whether we want one or not.
