I have been after this film on DVD for what seems like age's.

I have just seen it for sale here:

Has anybody ever used them before?

Is this for real, as I have heard no news of this being released yet?

    It's not for real. It's a pirate.

This company have come up on the forums before.

Read their FAQ (I won't post the link as a mod will only have to delete it afterwards anyway). The important thing to notice is that they will ship the DVD in a plastic sleeve (no cases). There are no booklets or anything else, just the DVD in a plastic sleeve. Also, all their DVDs work on all DVD players from any region.

Apart from the dubious quality of this DVD (probably a VHS copy burned to DVD), I certainly wouldn't trust these kind of people with my credit card details.

    Steer clear mate ;)

    Thanks for that!!

Any ideas when this is being released?

No idea why it has not been released yet, as it would surely do very well.

I've no idea sorry. There have been many threads discussing it in the past and fairly recently though and as far as I can remember, there is no release date scheduled yet.

Sorry perrdl, but we have to remove links to pirate sites, I am sure you understand.

Spielberg is very slow in bringing out his back catalogue on dvd - there are a few of his films i would love to have. :(

I tried that with Amazon for The Others' release date. Ended up buying it in the States and am still waiting for a release date from them!!!
So keep an eye out yourself and don't rely on Amazon to tell you

I am not posting to enter a debate on piracy. I don't even know the name of the pirate company you refer to as it was deleted etc etc. What I do know though is that the DVD copy of Schindlers List that does the rounds with these pirate people, is usually a copy of the laser disc version released a few years ago. I am no pirate but I have seen this version on DVD and the quality is very good. It's my favourite film, so hurry up Speilberg and put out a legit version soon please!

Steve will want to wait until he has a lot of spare time as he considers it, as he should, his most important work.

There is no way he would trust it to someone else
