I've had Ixos recomended more times than not over the last few weeks along with Vivanco/Prowire but Ixos is said to be the best in the Mid -price range.

why do people keep getting mixed up with SCART??

scart cables carry more than 1 type of connection, if fully wired they carry 3 types, composite, s-video and RGB.

So scart is not better than anything!

Manray, in descending order (best first):

    1. Component Video (3 x 75 ohm phono leads) but only if you have a component video compatible TV.
    2. RGB via SCART
    3. S-video via SCART
    4. Composite (poo)

The choice, as they say, is yours.
