What is the best way for scart to vga? I have seen converter's and cables i would assume that converters are better is this true?
It would be for connecting NTL, and my games consoles that go into a quintro+ to the projector! The dvd would go to component (i assume this is the best way??) and my htpc would go to the dvi.
I have found a few does any1 know if these ase any good or know of any others that are good?

You didn't say what kind of projector you have (or are getting).

Some projectors don't need anything other than a correctly wired cable - others need more!

    Bump!

Can anyone help as i've just ordered the lpx-500 and have the same problem too...

    NTL cable - lpx-500?

I'm going to use DVD - PJ Component so thats gone!

So that leaves S-Video and the VGA port....which one would be best and why?

What about all you TW100 owners???

    Regards,

The TW 100 will need a device such as rgb to vga converter I think, and will work of sorts with it. However, these things are designed for plasmas, and tend to give unpredictable results with projectors. My NEC gives a dark image with the JS box, which is unfortunate since in every other respect it's way superior. The synchblaster was next best, but I broke 2! Gave up there. I now use a JS s-video converter for TV from NTL, which seems to suit. The slightly softer picture disguises the lack of resolution in the source maybe. My projector takes component signals in it's 15 pin VGA port, so that is now used for DVD, not a limitation of the Epson. LPX 500 people, check your horizontal scan frequency goes down to 15.625Khz before considering the VGA route. Otherwise you'll need to use a Pro-v or iScan to double the synch frequency, many PJ's need this, though most new ones intended for HC use are made to accept 15khz now.
