Just got the Pioneer freeview box and wanted to connect it to my Av Amp using S-video from the VCR scart socket. So, I went to maplins to buy a THOR "Scart to S-Video & 2 RCA"... which I did! However, its actually wired in the reverse direction. You'd think if the box is labeled "Scart to S-Video & 2 RCA" then it should wired in that direction. Bloody stupid..... It should be described as "S-Video & 2 RCS to Scart". The annoying thing is that neither THOR nor any of the other cable companies seem to sell what I need. Even more annoying, is that when I actually needed this cable a couple of years ago, they were all sold in the opposite direction (i.e. the direction I need now). Why don't the manufacturers understand their own products! And why make these cables in only one direction?
