I'm after some help with regards what cables to buy to hook up my Sony 735 DVD player to my new Denon AVR-3805.

I have seen the PGV372 from http://www.profigold.com but I'm not sure if that is what I need.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Grant
I think that only the Arcam 300 will accept an RGB scart signal via it's component input.

    You options would be:
1, buy a JS tech RGB to Component converter
2, just use the s-video output on your dvd player and let the 3805 upconvert to signal to component.

    :)

You can switch RGB via component connectors as long as the amp also switches one of the composite inputs (required for the sync) at the same time.
Thus you need two adaptor cables Scart to RGB + composite (DVD to amp and amp to TV).
