I'm designing my installation for a Plasma Panel and need to switch two SCART sources.

The two alternatives I have identified so far are

    JS Technology Master SCART Controller
BTech Quintro (Is this the same as the Vivanco?)

The JS is neat because it doesn't take up any rack space and is automatic.

The Quintro has the advantage of extra inputs if needed (games console, camera etc), and flexible record switching. But it takes, up rack space, is not particularly pretty and requires switching.

Both are priced more or less the same so there is no real advantage there.

What I don't know is quality - Is one better than the other in terms of preserving/enhancing the quality of the source?

    Cheers,

    Nigel
