I want to be able to output from my Sky+ box to my DVD recorder, my Video and my Archos all at the the same time.
I currently have an unswitched 3 to one adapter that gives me one input and three outputs, but as it's not switched I get a certain amount of 'bleed over'.

What I want is switched scart box that has ONE INPUT and preferably THREE OUTPUTS.

I have tried two different switched boxes (maplins and argos) but both of these do not work as I assume they are not fully wired and are wired for three inputs and one output rather than the other way round.

I am certain there MUST be a box available that gives me the ONE INPUT and THREE OUTPUTS that I require.

Any help would be gratefully received as this is driving me bonkers :)

    Regards......Ted

Try Superfi and Lektropacks for suitable switchers.

maplins sell a $ AV distribution amplifier

its called the SB-3714 1X4 AV d/A , I have one here on my system.

I plug my sky+ into the input and run the archos, dvd recorder, IR transmitter and the tuner from in all at once.

its not switched but the 4 outputs are excellent quality.

Here is a very useful suggestion mate.

It also has optic and s-vhs inputs which are switchable by remote control.:smashin:

I have a similar one to this from maplin but it has 6 inputs (£50).
I can then plug in the sky, ss1 sat, PC, video, DVD, DVDR, VCR have the output plugged into the AV amp and record to DVD and archos any input. The sky+ scart 2 links straight through to the TV so the missus can watch corry while I record from the other sat dish to DVD.

This is not what avbear requires.

    jester20001 has the right idea.

You need an amplified scart distributor (for equal pic and sound quality) and NOT a scart switch box.

THIS is what you want (or something similar)............

Sorry if you think my suggestion wasn't worthy, but the thread title was asking for a switch box.

I agree, it had me fooled to but if you carefully read the post again (like I did!) it's clear that he wants to distribute one INPUT to three OUTPUTS rather than the other way round.

    What do I need?

I have a VCR and have just bought a DVD player. However, I have only one SCART on the tv, but need both pieces to hook up to it.

    What's the best solution?

    Thanks,

    Mark.
