We have a tv with one scart connection
Want to connect a home theatre system and also our TV decoder (this is called "The box")

both use a scart cable to talk to tv

Do I need a scart spitter or scart switch

Thanks Folks

A passive SCART splitter is very bad news; an active switch , in my experience, can actually maintain quality, despite all the extra cabling. I know the prices are very different, but an active switch is a much better buy.

You want a switch.

A splitter takes one input to many outputs.

A switch takes many inputs to one output.
