has anyone got a sony tv?
mine has 2 scart sockets but only one is rgb compatible. i need to connect sky dig and dvd to rgb, so is a scart switchbox the only way or is there some option on the tv that shorts the scart sockets?

You could try connecting the dvd player to the sky digibox with a scart lead so that both will use the same tv scart. This option will make recording from the digibox less convenient and there could be a slight reduction in dvd picture quality. Probably no worse than a switching box though!

If you try this at least it will not cost you anything initially.
