Scart sockets.....

please can anyone give me any idea if one of the scarts on my Philips 9527 will work with a S-VHS-SCART cable.
I know the tv has a S-VHS port at the side,but i'd much rather plug in at the back somehow.
My DVD player only has S-VHS,no SCART.

There is nothing by any of the scart sockets that tell me if i could use them this way,or in the instruction manual.

But I believe SCART Ext 2 on the 9527 is CVBS (composite) and Y/C (S-video) compatible

EXT1 & EXT3 are CVBS / RGB
