I have got a 5 year old JMC 28" widescreen tv that has 2 scart sockets at the back. If I plug my dvd player into the second scart socket my region 1 dvds only play in black and white. However, as soon as I change it to the other scart socket everything is fine. I've just had sky+ installed and the engineer said it was best to have it plugged into the first socker but this means my dvds wont play! Has anyone ever had this problem before? Or is it time to upgrade my telly? Any help appreciated.

Sorry, it's a JMB telly and not JMC. Oops!

Sounds as if the first socket is RGB and the second is composite.

BTW, you can edit your post if you make a mistake (as I often do!).

    Good luck. :)
