Just bought a couple of scart leads from my local hi-fi shop. I asked for fully wired and was sold 2 leads that look like black ribbon cable with gold scarts at both ends. I don't know who the manufacturer is.

Do these sound ok? They are 75cm long and I paid £7 each.

    Thanks

Yes, they're fully configured, I used to have one of these, but I prefer the normal type. The ribbon cable type aren't very good for connecting devices which are side by side, they're not as 'flexible'.

I think they are designed for devices which are stacked in a rack system.

It depends on how your system is set up.

£7 ribbon leads are unlikely to be well shielded so although these are gold pinned, the more important shielding is unlikely to be there.
