    Okay, not strictly a PJ question, but one that's resulted from the introduction of a PJ, so here goes (cut and paste from Usenet, BTW, I'm keen to get an answer! :) ) ...

    Up until today, my system comprised...

    Standard Sky box :
    Video:
    * SCART-RGB connected to standard TV
    * SCART connected to SCART<>S-Video convertor, driving Projector.
    * RF through DVD-Recorder to TV
    Audio:
    * Phono to AV-Receiver

    DVD Recorder (Cambridge Audio DVD55+RWI):
    Video:
    * SCART connected to standard TV (both source and playback)
    * Component output to Projector
    * RF output to TV
    * RF input from Sky RF out
    Audio:
    * Coax-Digital to AV-Receiver

    The problem with this set-up was that I could only feed the projector with
    S-Video from Sky, and component from the DVD player (hence, I had to use the projector source select to select the video source), and had to independently use audio-switching from the AV-Receiver.

    Today, things changed...

    Bought a SCART-RGB to YUV component convertor, works well.

    Connected Sky Box:
    Video:
    * SCART-RGB to RGB-YUV convertor, to AV-Receiver YUV input
    * SCART unconnected
    * RF through DVD-Recorder to TV
    Audio:
    * Phono to AV-Receiver

    DVD Recorder
    Video:
    * SCART connected to TV (source / playback)
    * Component output to AV-Receiver, YUV input
    * RF output to TV
    * RF input from Sky RF out
    Audio:
    * Coax-Digital to AV-Receiver

    Problem:

    I need to get RGB signal from Sky-Box to TV (to provide TV piccy of Sky, and
    DVD source (via TV Scart daisy chain)

    Solution?

    Is is possible to get a SCART RGB splitter, to take the output from the Sky
    box, and feed both the RGB-YUV converter, and also the TV SCART-RGB input? I'm not looking for a switching unit, BTW.

    Any help appreciated!

    Mike
