Scart Interference from Sky Box Question.

I have an Amstrad Sky Digibox, a Panasonic 28PK3 Widescreen TV and a Philips 701 DVD player and a Panasonic NVHD650B video recorder.

Sky is connected to the video recorder and AV2 of the TV.

DVD is connected to the Video recorder and AV1 of the TV.

    All through scarts.

My problem is that when I watch a DVD and sky is off you get a slightly noisy picture.

When I turn the sky box on the picture improves to a really crisp fine detailed picture without the noise, BUT there is then a very slight ghost floating from right to left which sometimes you can make out is sky.

Turning sky back on removes the ghost but adds the noise.

Do I need to doctor all of my scart leads or have I got an earth fault?

    Out of my mind!
