I have AV equipment coming out of my ears and I need some suggestions on a cabling scheme. I'll try and lay it out logically Output targets Widescreen CRT TV TIVO style PC with capture card. Inputs TIVO style PC with capture card. (needs to output to TV) Video (needs to connect to both outputs so I can record to PC from tape) NTL Cable box (needs to connect to both) Freeview Digital TV (needs to connect to both, used when recording cable channel I don't want to watch) DVD Player (TV only, I know I could use the PC but I find a proper player easier to control) Basically the TV needs to connect to everything, it has 2 inputs so it can be split. The PC needs to connect to everything except the DVD player Now I've tried various switch boxes, cables. It's all gets out of hand. I do have the vivanco 5 source scart switch but it seems to add a tonne of brightness to the image, overloading the TV and washing out colours. So do the other electronic switch boxes I've used. Any help would be appreciated!
