I've got a meridian 596 DVD player with the SCART output and am considering getting a Panasonic TH42PW6B.

According to Meridian, the SCART socket can output Composite, S-Video, RGB, YPrPb (non-standard), Blank (for 2nd zone) and EUROSCART.

If it can output YPrPb (albeit non-standard), could I get a lead made to connect from the SCART out of my DVD player to the VGA in on the Panny??

    Thanks in advance

will they make a lead up for me?

Surely if I buy an off-the shelf lead, it will not work due the component being non-standard??

Does non-standard mean that the pin configuration may not be standard??? I'm a bit confused!!

email keane directly make sure you provide them with all the details and they will do the job, because thats what they are good at, but expect to pay a fair bit more then normal.

The dont use the best shielding etc on their custom leads but they certainly are better then budget ones, and u can get it maid to the exact length u require.

You're better off with lektropacks for that, or if all else fails I'll make you one, I have a 3m one in my hand about to be installed this AM.
