Im currently using a gold plated scart cable that I bought from argos about a year ago for a fiver. As I got a new tv today (Sony KV28FX68) and I love watching dvd's, I was wondering if it was really worth it upgrading to a more expensive scart cable, something like the thor ones i've seen for £30. The dvd player is not a cheapy one.... Any advice would be appreciated

You may see an improvement in the picture quality by using a better scart lead but I wouldn't pay £30 for a Thor

have a look here instead where they are much cheaper.

 Thanks. I've also noticed that when the dvd player is set to RGB mode, there is a slight flicker when it displays a certain colour, usually some form of blue, could this be because of the cable?
