    Hi there.
Is there any way of telling whether a SCART cable is RGB? I've been digging around in the loft and have found a couple of cables whose origin I am unsure of!

    Cheers,
    NOMAN

If a scart cable is fully wired it can handle RGB as well as composite.

Cables known as "RGB Scart" will not be fully wired as they won't handle any audio for starters.

    Cheers for that Ian.

How can I tell if the cable is fully wired or not?

If you look at the scart connection and it has all the pins it is generaly fully wired but just to make sure if you dont mind opening each end of the connection and making sure then you can tell if its fully wired.
