I have the Philips video sender which is fed all my source devices via a Quattro+ switching box. The video sender output scart has to be connected to an input scart on the plasma. I don't understand why but I've tried it without this connection and the picture (at the receiver location) degrades considerably. When viewing the plasma I use the VGA input so this scart connection is just for the video sender.

At the moment this scart is a cheapo and the picture looks great on the TV connected to the receiver but it's a 14" CRT. If I upgrade to a 22" LCD would a better quality scart improve the picture. Remember the video sender trasmits composite only.

    Thanks,

    troy
