    Hi,

Is there such a thing as a scart booster?

    My situation:
I have my LCD tv hanging on the wall, so all cabling is buried in the wall and goes to my corner cabinet where my dvd player is. My dvd player has a 15M scart lead going all the way to the tv. Obviously the PQ is poor because of the length, so is there a way to boost the scart signal?

As you said scart does degrade badly over long runs, component works well over long runs as does svhs leads. If your LCD does not have component connections you could convert the component back to RGB scart. But I think you will be surpised at how good SVHS signals can be , as long as you buy a good quality cable .
