Scarface: Special Edition - DVD Region 2

Always been waiting for this and now here it is. Was it worth it?

Well I don't thinks so. Got it before I read any reviews on it and now I wish I hadn't. The picture seens to contain alot of grain (in lots of scences) so much that I thought that I was in a farmers field. Plus one little audio glitch and the double case for it is a joke, they both clip into one side of the case and overlap each other. If you want the second disc you have to remove the first one and then replace it again. Or is it just my disc?

I paid full price £14.99 not something that I do very often and would like to here from other people about this Special Edition.

    Are you happy with it?

Final note, is there a booklet with it? Cause I didn't get one.

I've not got around to watching the movie yet but i've watched all the extras and I was happy with those.

The box does have that double up thing going on with mine as well just like my Blade 2 box.

Oh and no booklet. The slipcase is nice though:D

Well thanks for all the replies.

First of all, THX 1138 I think you do a great job and its nobodies fault but my own for rushing out and buying it in the first place.

Its not all bad, it looks alright in places, but a bit of a disappointment.

So the moral of the story is, its not great but its the best that there is around.

It just a pity that its such a good movie

Review will be up in the next couple of days...but you'll probably disagree with my thoughts on the movie. Overlong, and plodding, imho this hasn't aged well at all.

I agree that it hasn't aged well at all. It looked some what bad 10 years ago, but I'll tell you what makes it such a good film.

Al Pacino gives one, if not the best performance in his carear and delivers a classic Oliver Stone script.

I have the the R1 Anniversary edition but I bought it for a investment, it's not been opened. I just don't care for the short in height Tony Montana, vs his partner who is tall like a drugpin would look like IMHO.
