Was going to purchase a sub but have been put off by reading threads refering to 'crossovers' and other techy jargon.

I have an onkyo 595 amp with mission m71 floorstanders as fronts. A tannoy mxc and M72 rears.

I do want to buy a sub but would appreciate an idiots guide to a reccomedation of a sub which would sit nicely with my set up at around the £350 mark and easy install instruction in relation to connections and info on crossover and frequencies etc.

    Many thanks.

Have a look in the "Powerbuy Forums" for a Velodyne CHT-10 available brand new & delivered to your door for £325, many of us here have bought one from uncle eric & believe it money well spent. Once you have it, it is easy enough to set up, and we are all on hand to guide you through it...:)

As many others will tell you, the Velodyne CHT10 through the Power Buy forum here is an excellent sub at a very competitive price.

They aren't that difficult to set up and we can guide you through it all when you have made your choice
