Hi Guys

I am in the market for a Scanner as i have a shed load of old pics to scan and some negatives possibly

Not needing the neg scan 1005 but would be nice as an option, i am running XP plenty of ram and a 3gig processor pentium

i like the look of this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Epson-Perfe...3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1209839827&sr=1-3

Any other ideas for around the same price

Bought one of these earlier in the year from amazon.. the negative and slide scanning is absoluteley fantastic scanned some 50 year old jobbies and it looks like they are brand new... BUT
Scanning photo's gives a bad result there is a lot of digital noise like pastelisation on faces and stuff we are using an intel mac mini running on tiger with latest fw

I also have an HP F2180 multifunction printer £30 at comet and the scans for photies are excellent

If it was me I would buy both as the slide/negative and filmstrip scans of the v200 would be hard beaten at the price

Hope to help
BTW next day delivery from amazon is via 'pity link' (hope they can find you!!!)
Stolly
