I am trying to pick a DVD player and finding it rather hard to identify one that has all the features I am looking for. The Scan SC2000 seems to come reasonable close, although I am not keen on the cheap and cheerful look of it. Does anyone know if its two scart connectors support RGB loopthru? Alternatively can anyone suggest an alternative DVD player which would meet the following spec.

    - Audio playback from CD-R/CD-RW discs
    - DD & DTS compatible Co-ax & optical digital audio outputs.
    - RGB video output
    - RGB loopthru
    - Digital audio decoding not required.
    - Playback of NTSC Region 1 discs via either remote control hack or hardware upgrade.
    - MP3 playback would be nice.
    - Budget of up to £300

    TIA

    LG 3350E.

Mp3 playback is superb, picture superb, techtronics multimod superb!

    £230 (about £245 with macro-disable)

The only thing is the loopthrough is not RGB, (RGB output though!)

It is a pity that both Scarts on the LG3350 aren't RGB capable.

It is still a very nice player though. Loads better than the Scan.

Check HCCO Review of it for more info.
