Easy question, being as i cant afford to replace my 200DM(the evil one would hit me)would a scaler be beneficial to improving the PQ of my pj?

    If so any recommendations?

    Hi Phil,

The current crop from Lumagen and DVDO are the favourite products at the moment. If they can do a native of 848 x 480 when the DM is 16:9 mode then this would be your best bet.

Just having a quick look on the dvdo site the hd and hd+ seem to offer 848X600 or 852x480 would this be of no use to me then?

    Sorry I am so thick!

    Phil,

848 X 600 may be OK as the internal scaler on the proector will simply do the rest. The other option is to set the scaler simply to 480p.
