    Hiya,

    I'm considering a Panny AE500.

I know I don't need a scaler but would one make much difference.

I will be using a Pioneer 757i to shove the picture through to the panny so what would be the best method of getting a decent piicture out of that combination?

    Many thanks in advance.

Use the component output on your 757i to feed a prog scan picture to the AE500.

the advice i was given with the sanyo Z2 was that external scaling would be a bit pointless (i mean the newest tech). You are best just doing as Samir suggested
