scailing dvd question

Standard Member
Can i use dual screen when scailing a dvd on my pc to my hd lcd,or do i have to use clone mode, and display my tv native res on both screens.Reason i ask this ,is it would be nice to have dual screen and keep my desktop res at 1280x1024,and if im gessing right my tv would then down scale to its native res. My pc desktop res would be 1280x1024 and my lcd res be 1.1 mapping at 1360x768

Iv here hd tv do a fantastic job down scaling, from say 1080p to 720p....
so would this apply to dual mode for me
