my sofa is flush with the back wall and im wanting to use the SB channel effectively.

with that in mind, is it better to have the speaker facing forward or up? im thinking up but want some opinions on this.

also if its facing up, are bipoles better or would a normal bookshelf speaker be better as the sound would bounce off the ceiling back down again.

edit: also how high should they be mounted? will it work if i had the speaker facing up, mounted as near to the ceiling as possible?
