Anyone seen "Saw" yet? The TV trailers look good, and I thought it might already be out on DVD somewhere, but haven't come across it yet.

i don't think i could cope with knowing too much about the film, my main reason for not really looking too hard for any info, dvd or otherwise.

i saw.... umm Saw... Friday night.

Went to the 9.40 showing and expecting it to be quite empty as it's hardly a Hollwood blockbuster but it was absoultely packed! (i dont like full cinemas!) anyway, it is an excellent film, i went in with some good expectations but was very pleased with the outcome! The comparisons with Se7en are worthy.

Well written, directed and acted from a newcomer and a relatively unknown cast! two thumbs up! Go see it!

Excellent thriller well worth a watch - with a great ending. Also watched Layer Cake this weekend and also well worth a blimp, and a great and unexpected ending.

Also check out the website for the moive: http://www.sawmovie.com

Brilliantly done, make sure your connection is fast though, and your speakers are on and turned up. A dark room is useful.

Not sure if it actually gives anything away, but probably best looking at after you have seen the film.

Great film though, shame about the posters, which compared to the time and money put into the website, are a real let down.

Terrible terrible movie. No suspense, this pile of **** utterly bored me. Whilst the twist near the end was good, the final twist was just plain silly and smacks of the director trying too hard (preposterous too, why didn't he just LEAVE it with a little more left to your imagination???).

The acting was poor, the direction was anything but inspired, and I just knew it was going to be bad the first time heavy metal accompanied the scenes with fast, frantic, MTV-style cuts. Like, wow, that's original

Amateurish tripe, which wasted a promising idea. :thumbsdow

Cannot agree, i thought it was very good and although it was obviously made on a budget, it had a little suspense and a few twists to keep me occupied and the puppet thing was reasonably scary.
Only thing i agree was the acting was a bit wooden and Danny Glover was awfull, why do new producers feel they have to add b-list actor (who's name everyone knows) to every film.
