Just got my copy os s.p.r. and I'm worried about the sound.

On the "Dreamworks intro" there is no sound and this is the first dvd I've had like this.

Sound only starts with the movie...is it the same with all copies or is this a problem?...i.e. should I return it or is it normal?

I think there might be a problem with some sound in the movie as well but not %100 sure!

Version is R2 DD5.1...don't use surround sound, just Dolby 3 stereo

Just checked my R1 DTS version. There is no sound on the Dreamworks intro so your disc is most likely fine.

    Thanks groundy!

Is the film a bit on the grainy side?

The grainy effect is there but I think it was Spielberg's intention to film it this way.

Apparently it is Dreamworks policy to not put music on the intro if the film is of a "serious" nature
