I have what I think is a basic question.

When I backup my digital photo's to DVD I get the same question " the disc contains data, do you wish to overwrite it ?"

All I want to do is to be able to add new pictures to the dvd, not wipe off what is already being stored.

What am I doing wrong ?

    Thanks

    Paul

Hi Paul, What you probably mean, you want to copy not backup your files to dvd there is a differance here. When you say backup do you use a back up program. Because if you do the program compresses the files for backup. Then if you backup again you are asked if you would like to ovewright or add to the files in that achive. Next time start your DVD software up make sure its not configured for backup in stead of copying.......I hope this helps in some way. Regards miggs
