I have a game saved on my old PC, which is packed up collecting dust. I now have installed that game on my new computer but don't want to start from the begining. Can i somehow email the saved points, or whole game from the old pc to the new one?

    Cheers.

Can’t you either copy it to a floppy, burn it to a cd or connect the two HD (better using two different cables for it) making the old drive the slave.

Haven't got that game, so can't find the filename for the savegame/profile.

However- open up Windows Explorer, go into the directory the game is in, and Press CTRL F. Type in *.* in the first option. It'll show all files in that dir.

Resort by modified- hopefully your save game should be latest. See what directory this is in, (ie might be Save dir) so copy all files in that dir to a floppy/over the network- and copy to your new PC.

I do not know if you got it running but just open the game file up and there should be a save game folder, open it up and if it has unlimited game saves just open the save from your cd, and drag it across and click on copy here.
If there is not a save file play the game save and take a new look, it now may have created one.
