Anybody have any ideas where I can pick up a DVD based sat nav for less than the cost of a fortnight in Florida?

I've played with a couple on the move and I love the idea but the cost seems outrageous.

Don't waste your money the benifits are little considering the extra cost.

I'm sold on the benefits, mostly less stress and less fights arguing about map reading, it's just the cost putting me off.

The CD Rom base navi's are excellent and the DVD rom systems are at least a third more in price.
I have fitted lots of brands CD and DVD based systems and well the DVD systems are better but not that much better.

    Thanks Mark,

Maybe I'll look again, but to be honest, I reckon even the CD based ones (with colour screens) are still overpriced.
