Any recommendations for a cheap(ish) Sat Nav solution for a Polo. I'd like something that is portable as will probably be changing the car in the next six months.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

I've had TomTom Go for 8 months. I heartily recommend it.

It is so easy to use even my mum can use it, and 99% of the time it gets you to where you need to go effortlessly.
You can even add a safety (speed) camera database to it so it warns you when near a speed camera.

However, like any Sat Nav system, there are times when roads change and the map data gets out of date. Some people dwell on this point and say they're all a waste of time..... I couldn't disagree more, and neither would my mum who regularly borrows it to drive to places she previously felt too nervous to travel to.

Any ideas as to the cost? And a good place to get it?
