If they want to stop cyclists getting hit by large vehicles with massive blind spots then they should have proper training and licensing for cyclists like any other road user.

My experience as a driver is cyclists haw no idea of the highway code, dont understand the rules of the road. Ive seen bikes swerve in and out of traffic then up and down pavements around people and go through red lights cutting people up.

To help lorry and bus drivers bikes by law should need to have a gps tracker in the handlebars that sends out a signal so in built up areas drivers can see the position of approaching cyclists.
