Did anyone else see Nick Broomfield's outstanding documentary over Christmas?

Sarah Palin: You Betcha! - Channel 4

This is one scary woman - God forbid she ever ends up in a position of power!

Well seeing as she was Governor of Alaska from 2006-2009 that's already happened!

However, I think ever since Palin has become a Republican media darling, she's probably now more focussed on cashing in as much as possible and I doubt she's ever be interested in actually running (of course she will do her fake 'I might' run bids) for federal office

I'd be more worried about the possibilities of Rick Santorum becoming President. Palin dressed up as a man with more credibility. But no less dangerous or loopy. Just a bit more intelligent.

Well if Romney wins the South Carolina primary, he's pretty much on course to win the Republican nomination and from there, I think Obama should be able to win a second term. So touchwood, there won't be any President Santorum

The only good thing to say for Pailn is she supports Ron Paul. If he can pick up any of her fans, he might has a chance of getting the Republican nomination.

That's good enough to confirm my life-long support of American Republicism.

Which one of the republican nominees isnt delusional, out in left field or a pathological liar? Gingrich? Romney? Ron Paul?

The democratic race will feature no loonies, but that's faint praise, as they too will all struggle to call a spade a space. Truth and realism will be absent there too.

This is underlying problem in American politics. The voting public demands candidates that either are amoral enough to tell 100% lies - or arent lying because they actually believe the nonsense they are saying.

Sarah Palin was never a problem, merely a symptom.
