    Hi folks,

Got a faulty Sapphire 7970 up for sale.

it powers on, fans will spin but it gives no signal to the monitor/T.V. Don't know what's wrong with it and haven't got the patience to try and figure it out.

    £90 delivered

    Payment by BT only.

    Cheers

Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:
    1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
    2) Name and address including postcode
    3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.
Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

Don't know mate, Sapphire's warranty is crap anyway so I can't honestly be bothered to try to get it repaired so just going to sell it as faulty.

    Hello,

    Ok, fair enough.

How about £70inc P&P for it?

Does it come boxed with all the bits?

    Thanks,
    Michael

If you bought this from the UK then the warranty is with the retailer.

It should be a 2 year warranty directly with the retailer, nothing to do with Sapphire .

So if you contact the shop you bought it off and arrange an RMA you will get a replacement.

No original box, can throw it as few bits and bobs you'd usually get with it. £70 is fine if you still want it?

    Hello,

Still no word from the seller.

Tried to call him tonight and someone else answered the phone and when it was passed over he hanged up when he knew it was someone from AV Forums....

Tried Calling Back and the phone was put down.

    Please Advise.

    Thanks,
    Michael

I'm really sorry about this, I made this situation so much worse by ignoring it, I'm really sorry.

I had every intention of posting out the item just days after the sale was final, but I've run into major financial difficultly and I just couldn't afford the postage with my bank being overdrawn by by hundreds due to pay day loans, and no income until April. I've been trying to sell even my PC but even NY eBay account is blocked due to over due fees. I've not even been able to afford to feed my daughter properly.

I know you tried to call me landline this evening, I'm 90% deaf though and cannot speak on the phone hence why I gave you my mobile number so I could text. But my mobile contract has been put on hold due to non payment so cannot receive texts or calls etc. My brother answered and hung up, I'm sorry about that. My mother is extremely I'll and is terrified when the phone rings persistently over and over again And will not answer, can i possibly ask communications are kept here.

I've not logged on here because I had/have every intention to send the item and I've been truly embarrassed and couldn't face the messed I caused over not being able to raise £10 for postage.

I'm rmall cash advance and getting the card posted to you by Friday, again I'm really sorry eally sorry about this whole situation, its gotten out of control and I'm sorry for ignoring it.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the update.

I'm sorry to hear your having difficulties and I hope you mange to get them resolved but as I'm sure you can appreciate I would just like this purchase completed and the item I've paid for.

Did you manage to get the card posted ok? I presume you still have my address?

As long as you keep active on here with regular updates I will have no need to call you again.

    Thanks,
    Michael
