Hi,
I recently got one of these Z2 projectors... Decent picture and very nice HDTV images. I use component cable from my HDTV receiver, with 1080i. Works great!
I use NTSC and 60 Hz all over, by the way.
So, what is my problem?
Well, I use a crappy and long DVI-I cable from my Bravo D1 DVD player. The reason for DVI-I, instead of DVI-D, is to be able to switch to my PC without having to switch cable up at the Z2 itself. So, I do need both analog and digital signal through the cable.
It works fine with digital signal using 480p from my Bravo D1.
But... when changing the setting to 720p, Z2 acts as if no signal is received, i.e., blue screen. I assume that if the cable is to crappy, there could be problems, such as flickering pixels, but that the projector cannot sync at all?
Has anyone used Z2 with a Bravo D1, or any other 720p digital source?
