Hello all,
I have finally decided that we need a PJ and I have been looking at the Sanyo Z1.
I have got a few questions concerning the placement and connections that I need some help with.
Firstly connections.
I would like to connect a Tivo (RBG Scart), a DVD Player (RDB Scart or S-Vid) and a PC from time to time.
I would also like the Tivo to be also connected to the TV to allow normal watching.
I was thinking of the following
DVD via s-Vid, into S-Vid port.
Tivo via RGB Scart to VGA lead. This will have to come from a scart switch box from the Tivo.
I think that I am going to have to leave the computer connections as I am not going to use it that much.
Is this the best way to conenct up considering that Tivo usage will be much greater that DVD.
Now onto Placement.
Here are the facts.
We will be sitting 130" back from the screen, so I have decided on a 83" Drapa Luma Screen attached to the ceiling.
No the easiest place to mount the projector would be about 10" behind the seating, but looking at the figures this will produce an image of in excess of 90" which is too big.
So I think that I am going to have to go with a gyrolock close ceiling mount.
So will this all work well?
Cheers for any advice
