    Hi all,

I´ve just moved back into my mums house and taken my 32 inch CRT with me.
I was watching it last night ... and turned it off via the remote (to put it into standby, not actually turned off as you know...) and as soon as the red light comes on at the front i start to hear a humming/buzzing noise coming from it ... hmm i cant remember this from before ...

If i turn the telly on, its fine, its only when its in standby.

Im wondering if its anything that could have happened during the move, cos i certainly didnt notice this in my previous apartment, and im sure it wasnt a case of ambient noise drowning it out.

Been googling around and it sounds like it could the 16v (or so) transformer that serves for standby.

Any one you had this problem? Any Ideas?

    Cheers,
    Rob
