I've had my project just over four years now and it's done abou 1500 hours.

The Lamp Replacement Indicator light turned yellow over six months ago, but there's no sign of the bulb failing yet, the image seems as bright as ever, even to a friend who came round at the weekend and saw it for the first time.

Anybody know how long the bulb should last for once the replacment indicator turns yellow, and can you recommend a supplier for a new one ?

I think if you change bulb indicator light came on then you should replace your bulb or it might explode causing internal damage to you PJ. Unlikely but it could happen.
